FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What herbal supplements are in a Persister Desister Kit?

Persister Desister Kits contain three herbal extracts. Each extract comes in its own packet. The extracts are Cistus incanus, Phyllanthus niruri, and Cryptolepis sanguinolenta, When used in conjunction, these herbs synergistically support allopathic treatment protocols.

What are Persisters, and why would I need a Persister Desister Kit?

Overall, your immune system does a good job of defending you against disease-causing microorganisms. However, sometimes it fails, and a germ invades and makes you sick. At times, the pathogen is able to alter your immune response or hide in immuno-privileged areas. In such cases, the pathogen can survive even after standard treatments. Often these survivors are resistant — or “immune” — to standard antibiotics. In other cases, the survivors simply hide very well and aren’t affected by the treatment. These survivors are called PERSISTERS.

Our Persister Desister trio of herbal extracts may help the immune system get back on track. These carefully selected herbal supplements may be able to help your immune system function optimally and “unmask” an agent that is hiding from your natural defenses. Working together with your body, the Persister Desister trio can disrupt a pathogen’s ability to hide in biofilms, interrupt the communication between pathogens, and degrade their ability to replicate.

How many servings are in a Persister Desister Kit?

Each kit contains one packet of Cistus incanus extract, one packet of Phyllanthus niruri extract, and one packet of Cryptolepis sanguinolenta extract. Kits come in 60g sizes (containing three 20g packets) and 150 gram sizes (containing three 50g packets). The 60g kit contains approximately 40 servings. The 150 gram kit contains approximately 100 servings.

Is there a serving suggestion?

We suggest that you combine the Cistus incanus and Phyllanthus niruri extract in the container of your choice. Each morning, mix 1/4 teaspoon of this blend into hot water and drink it as a tea before eating. The extracts may also be added to a fruit juice or vegetable juice or mixed into a smoothie. At night, we suggest that you mix 1/8 teaspoon of Cryptolepis extract into 8 oz. of hot water and drink it as a digestive.

Why are the 3 herbal extracts packaged separately?

The 3 extracts are in separate packs so you can choose how best to support your immune system health. If you have a known allergy, a previous adverse reaction, or a health condition that suggests you should not use one or more of these extracts, customize your usage accordingly.

How did you choose the three herbal extracts in Persister Desister Kits?

The trio of herbs in the Persister Desister Kit together function as broad synergistic support for your health and wellness goals. Phyllanthus niruri is the great “unmasker” known for helping to alert the immune system to the hiding pathogen. Cistus incanus can help with the removal of biofilms and support mitochondrial health. Cryptolepis sanguinolenta has the distinction of being the only herbal with reported activity against all forms of the bacteria that is at the root of Lyme disease.

Both Phyllanthus niruri and Cryptolepis sanguinolenta support a healthy microbiome. Phyllanthus niruri supports the immune system adaptogenically. It can help quell an overactive system, as well as activate a system that has been turned off by a pathogen. Together, Phyllanthus niruri and Cistus incanus can support the liver and kidneys while the body “detoxes” during the elimination of the pathogen.
