Getting through tough times can seem impossible anytime of year. Stay strong. I have faith in you.
When I decided to start Linden Botanicals, I intentionally chose to offer a small, curated selection of all-natural, healthy herbal teas and extracts. Rather than sell every tea under the sun, I chose only plants with significant research and science behind them. Phyllanthus niruri was the first tea and extract I selected because of my personal experience with it. The rest of our products have been selected by my team and I after extensive, careful research.
Today, we’re slowly and carefully expanding the line of herbal teas and extracts we offer. We’re doing everything we can to make sure our products meet our customers specific health needs. Anytime we’re able to help people optimize their health, we’re more grateful than I have the words to express.
More than that, though, we’re committed to helping people who are having trouble getting through tough times.
Tough Times Are No Joke
The holiday season is a stressful and painful time for many people. (Read the Mayo Clinic’s tips for coping with stress and depression during the holidays.) The reality, though, is that some people are dealing with tough times all year long. I know. I’ve been there.
If you or someone you care about has suffered from a serious illness or even a prolonged difficult period in their life, you know how important it is to never take physical or mental health for granted.
For my part, I struggled with Lyme disease for almost four years. During that time, I sought advice from every corner and fell into all the common traps. Doctors ran numerous one test after the other and prescribed one expensive antibiotic after another. People I knew and trusted and people I would never trust in a million years recommended medicines, teas, supplements, tinctures, environmental remediation tactics, and even surefire “cures.”
Chasing sickness involves an endless loop of seeing doctors and specialists to diagnose each new symptom. It involves trying one costly new medication after the other (each with its own onslaught of side effects). It involves spending exhausting hours each week (or possibly even each day) scouring articles and forums in search of a magic bullet. I chased sickness for years.
On top of health complications, long-lasting disease took its toll on my bank account, my ability to hold down a job, my social life, and even my sense of self worth. As is the case with many people who suffer from chronic illness, I had a tough go of it.
Lyme disease did more than dominate my life – Lyme disease became my life. For a while there, I gave up on the possibility of getting through tough times. At times, I wanted to give up. But I didn’t. And I don’t want you to give up, either.
You Can Do This
Getting through tough times can seem impossible, but it is doable. I’m not going to pretend it’s easy, and I wouldn’t think of trying to downplay the stress, fatigue, sleepless nights, and pain you or someone you love has been through. I simply want you to know that I’ve been there. And I care deeply about your health and want you to do everything in your power to get well.
I wrote an e-book about my experience in the hopes that it might help you. In the e-book, I share eight lessons I learned when I made it a priority to optimize my health.
Stay strong. I have faith in you.
